As a result of increased client demand, they are on the lookout for top calibre BI/DW Consultants with strong data migration experience to join their successful team of consultants.

If you are an energetic, self-motivated professional with a well developed client-service focus, and you are serious about progressing your career as a Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence specialist, this is the role for you.

You will be involved in a range of client projects, so a proven track record across a variety of projects is required.

Any experience in Cognos, InfoSphere, Info Server, and/or Ascential DataStage would be highly advantageous.

This is a permanent career opportunity that will see you utilising your combination of technical, business consultancy and relationship management skills.

Future opportunities will see you developing and implementing BI solutions and data warehouses based around our client's product set, leading and managing projects, and working closely with our client's business customers to understand their particular needs and solution requirements.

Skills and experience required:

- In-depth knowledge and solid experience in the end-to-end design, development and deployment of BI solutions and data warehouses
- Data Migration experience, (ideally using Ascential DataStage, although not essential)
- SQL report writing experience;
- Sound knowledge of a variety of databases (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, DB2)
- ETL experience;
- Understanding of reporting/analysis frameworks (desirable);
- Previous consulting experience (desirable);
- Project management skills.
