Basil has a wealth of recruitment experience spanning 11 years in the industry across Australia and New Zealand. Basil's experience as a professional recruiter commenced in 1997 with one of the world's largest recruitment practices specialising in the sourcing of contract financial executive staff. The last six years have seen Basil deliver to a wide variety of contract specifications to clients across the public and private sectors in the Executive Leasing arena. Typical assignments have ranged from interim management and general management roles programme and project management, business analysis, change and transition management, strategic and operational HR and policy based roles across the Government sector.

Clare is our Billing and Credit Control Manager working closely with contractors and clients in the billing of clients, contractor payments and all aspects of the finance team. Edward Rouse
Ed is our dedicated consultant specialising in Engineering, Construction and Operations recruitment across all regions of New Zealand. Ed has a BSc (Hons) in Construction Management and started his career in the UK construction industry. He has successfully managed several industrial and housing projects before moving into the recruitment sector.
This background means Ed can talk to clients and candidates with a strong knowledge of the sector and gives him an edge in sourcing scarce resources in a highly competitive market.
Furthermore, being an immigrant himself, Ed understands the attraction of New Zealand and able to advise overseas candidates on a personal level about what to expect when immigrating to New Zealand.

Elizabeth is our Payroll and Accounts Clerk. Elizabeth has worked in payroll and accounting for many years including with one of NZ's largest companies. More recently, Elizabeth worked in the UK with a large recruitment company based in London where she was responsible for a global payroll. Outside of work Elizabeth enjoys travel, music, sport, movies and good food and wine shared with family and friends.

Emily Horsefield
Emily is the Contractor Manager within the IT Contracting team in our Wellington office. Her role as Contractor Manager is to build ongoing relationships with contractors following placement, to be a consistent contact for them at Beyond and implement any necessary changes to their contracts. She is very much a people person and really enjoys the side of her job that gets her out of the office, meeting our contractors regularly for a coffee and catch up.

Emma is our Auckland Office Manager. Emma has previous experience working in office administration roles in the UK. After her time in the UK, she returned to New Zealand to begin a career within recruitment. Prior to joining Beyond, Emma worked as a recruitment consultant for an international recruitment company. Having worked in the recruitment industry for several years, Emma brings invaluable skills and knowledge to the Beyond team. Emma's positive, energetic and "can-do" approach is reflected in the support she provides to both the permanent and contracting consultants, as well as ensuring a welcoming experience to our candidates.

Emma is one of our Resource Managers in the Wellington IT contracting team and manages a pool of experienced professionals looking for their next assignment. Her key skills include relationship management, communication and strategic thinking.

Freeman holds the position of Accounts Clerk at Beyond Recruitment within the Finance team. He completed his BCA Degree at Victoria University of Wellington in 2006 majoring in Accounting. He is very passionate about accountancy and his new role at Beyond Recruitment.

Gemma, a temporary services specialist is part of the Beyond Temp team, providing high calibre temporary business support professionals into a variety of assignments within the Wellington market.
Gemma brings with her a diverse range of recruitment industry experience gained from over five years experience within the international recruitment markets of the UK, Australia and New Zealand. Her career to date spans temporary recruitment, specialist engineering and construction recruitment and more recently professional services recruitment within Wellington.

Harry is a Director of Beyond and manages our corporate and financial operations. Harry has other business interests in the security and tourism sectors and is also Chief Executive of Beyond's sister company Starfish Consulting.

Hugh is the Client Relationship Manager for Beyond Recruitment.
Hugh is a highly experienced sales professional, executive recruitment consultant, manager and business owner with over 16 years experience in recruitment. Prior to that worked for 9 years in sales in the IT industry. Over the past 16 years he has undertaken executive level recruitment assignments and managed and owned several recruitment companies servicing clients in Wellington and Auckland. He has held leadership roles with The Doughty Group, Candle Recruitment, LaceyLee and Hudson Recruitment.
He is widely known and respected throughout this sector of the market and is passionate about creating service companies that deliver high quality human resource services and strategic value to customers.

He has 8 years recruitment experience and has built divisions for a Global Recruitment Consultancy in this time both here in NZ and the UK. James has worked extensively with leading CIO's and IT Directors in forming partnerships to understand their recruitment needs, so as to aid him to provide a first rate delivery service. Jane’s recruitment history spans over a decade, 2 continents and RPO, In-house and Agency settings. Starting her recruitment career in 1997 with a national airline in the UK, Jane immigrated to New Zealand in 1999, where she has held a variety of Business Support and Contact Centre recruitment roles and since 2004 in a senior leadership capacity. Jane has a reputation for placing the highest value on her relationships with clients and matching her candidates to the very best roles.

John has worked for over 20 years in senior leadership and directorship roles in the recruitment, consulting and services industries. He has an in depth understanding of the NZ business scene. Outside of work, John's interest include jogging and fishing (a recent convert) and spending time with his family. He also has a Labrador named Ruby and a mischievous Bulldog named Reggie.

Jonathan Hay
Jonathan is a Client Manager in our Wellington based ICT permanent recruitment team. He comes with over 15 years sales and recruitment experience in both the UK and NZ job markets. Since arriving in NZ in 2005, Jonathan has managed to develop a strong network of clients and candidates in Wellington’s private and public sectors and has a particularly good knowledge of NZ’s telco business sector. He describes his style as a hardworking passionate sales professional with strong morals and excellent relationship management skills.
Outside work Jonathan is a keen sports fan and supporter of Wellington’s local sports teams including the Wellington Phoenix and is looking forward to supporting the All-Whites and England in this years’ world cup in South Africa.

Judith is a member of our fantastic reception team. She has worked in the Food and Hospitality Industry for many years as a Company Director and Conference Coordinator.
She is studying part time for a Diploma of Business Management and is on the Board of Governors for a Wellington independent school. Judith enjoys entertaining as well playing Mah Jong and golf occasionally in her spare time. Bringing her experience and people skills to this position Judith hopes to make clients feel welcome and at ease.

Kylie Smeaton
Kylie is our Team Manager, Shared Services. Her team provides operational business support, front of house and looks after the administration requirements of the recruitment teams across all of our Business disciplines.
With a substantial background in providing high quality business support, she has held previous roles in the Financial Sector, Health Services & Legal environment, which has allowed her to develop strong business relationships across a number of different business environments. She has recently completed extramural legal studies to gain her Legal Executive qualification.

Lee-Anne Thomson
Based in our Auckland office, Lee-Anne is a Client Manager - ICT for Beyond Contracting. Lee-Anne started her career in the technical IT arena as a software developer and implementation consultant; and she then moved into ICT recruitment and contracting, where she has remained for 12 years.
With a strong understanding of the nature and business of ICT, Lee-Anne has an excellent track record of success in building long-term partnerships with clients and contractors, and being solution focused in all of her interactions. She is committed to the universal principles of success - delivering a high quality service and making every conversation count.
She has an MA in Psychology, loves Harley-Davidsons and the Kiwi sunshine.

Peter joined the Beyond Recruitment finance team in Wellington as Accountant in 2007. He absolutely believes he was meant to be a "Beanie" and intends sticking with the profession for life. Siobhan Porter
Siobhan has joined the Beyond Temporary Team as a specialist in providing temporary services at short notice and for high volume projects across industries. She has a strong belief in providing high service standards for both her registered temps and her clients. Siobhan will be helping to establish the Temporary Business for Beyond in Auckland. Prior to this, she graduated with a conjoint BA/ BBs, followed by a Master of Management at Massey University.

Suzanne is a Client Manager in our Wellington-based IT permanent team and has been with us since 2007. Suzanne has more than 12 years IT/Telecommunications industry experience working in New Zealand and United Kingdom.
Suzanne has excellent all round recruitment experience having worked within a major banks IT Project Office before becoming their internal Recruitment Consultant, which she maintained for more than three years. This gives her a strong business focus and an understanding client's requirements particularly in the banking/finance sector. Tracey has more than nine years IT Recruitment experience in Wellington and almost 20 years within the IT industry both here and in Australia. Tracey works with clients in Government, Banking, Telecommunications and the Vendor sectors. Tracey joined the Beyond Recruitment team in December 2005 as an IT Contracting specialist.
