Where I’m from: I was born and raised in New Plymouth, with my early years spent on a dairy farm in rural Taranaki, right under the mountain. My professional background: My background spans more than a decade in sales across retail, eCommerce, and wholesale account management. Throughout these roles, I developed a strong focus on client engagement and retention, sales insights and planning, and maintaining a positive, trusted brand reputation. I later transitioned into our small family IT business, where I concentrated on vendor coordination, administration, and client engagement within an MSP environment. Moving into recruitment felt like a natural progression - a place where the skills I’ve built across my career come together and genuinely complement the work. What not many people know about me: As a kid I was a frequent flyer in the emergency room with 6 broken bones in the span of around 4 years- shoulder, toe, foot, rib, finger, hand. The strangest break award goes to my finger and hand- the result of a very enthusiastic Hi-5. What I love about Aotearoa, New Zealand: I love the people. We’re a down‑to‑earth, open, and honest bunch who know how to have a good laugh along the way. The lifestyle here is also unbeatable - the variety of outdoor activities is incredible, with the mountains and the sea never far from each other. It’s a special place |
