Where I’m From: I was born in South Africa and lived in the United States of America, China, Canada, Belize, England, Cyprus, the Netherlands, and Belgium before finally settling in New Zealand.
My Professional Background: I have a varied background including Recruitment, Teaching English Abroad, Business Administration, Management, Data Management, Graphic Design and Web Design.
Why I’m passionate about Technology & Transformation at Beyond Recruitment: In today’s world IT is an integral part of everything we do. From a business perspective, you can’t escape IT; it’s a critical component of any successful business. And Transformation is happening rapidly at every level. I love the fact that I get to be part of it all and get to learn about the changes and trends happening within the industry across various businesses and business sectors.
What not many people know about me: I’m a total geek and have been since I was ten years old when I started learning HTML just for fun. I also love writing and have my own personal blog with over 100 essays I’ve written over the years. I like all kinds of music –everything from country, pop, rock, punk rock, country music, etc.
What I love about Beyond Recruitment: I love that we work collaboratively and I love what that means for our clients and for the candidates we work with. The work culture is fantastic and I always feel highly driven and motivated by my team. I look forward to coming to work each day and love the way no day is the same as the one before. I also love the level of commitment to professionalism and service delivery. I’m incredibly proud to work for Beyond Recruitment because they really do live their values every day internally and externally.
What I love about New Zealand: Having lived all over the world, I’ve made an informed decision to settle in New Zealand. I love New Zealand. There is so much to do and see here. I think a person could live here for two lifetimes and still not run out of place to go and see and things to do. I love this beautiful country and I wouldn’t choose to raise my son anywhere else but here.
