My professional background: With 18 years of recruitment experience in Auckland, I have worked across many sectors and role types, supporting key organisations in temporary, contracting and permanent placements. My role at Beyond Recruitment enables me to combine my Human Resources degree and passion for this function with my extensive experience in order to deliver a service that is responsive, transparent and values-driven.
Why I’m passionate about Call Centre & Customer Services at Beyond Recruitment: Nothing beats the pace and rewards of working in Temporary Staffing Solutions. We work tirelessly every day to ease the pressure and alleviate the pain points for our clients, as well as providing our candidates with valuable experience and financial security – it’s a big job but someone’s gotta do it.
What not many people know about me: I studied Japanese right through to University Honours degree level but now only use it to order food.
What I love about New Zealand: I moved to New Zealand from South Africa 26 years ago, and the things that struck me then are still what I love about New Zealand – the feeling of safety and community, the wonderful scenery and ability to see snow, forest and sea in one day; the “she’ll be right/punch above our weight” mentality and the fact that it is a great place to grow up and (now, for me) to raise kids.
What I love about Beyond Recruitment: I love that we have a sense of fun, we are diverse in our backgrounds and express our individuality which makes for a great ‘authentic’ organisation. I also sincerely appreciate that we are a company that has strong values and we believe in treating our clients and candidates in the best way possible.
