This large organisation has a significant volume of work within remediation and retrofit of multiple homes to meet current building standards for healthy homes. Due to this ongoing level of work, there is a need for driven and smart project manager to join the team on a contract basis. There are opportunities from Intermediate through Senior levels.
The opportunity would see you managing a programme of high-volume work. You will be building your relationships with main contractors, consultants and Wellington City Council acting as an engineer to contract. You will be working in a best practice environment with first class systems and disciplines.
As a project manager, you will need to come from a construction consultancy background or a contractor/consultancy background with 4 – 10 years of experience where you have been managing a range of commercial or residential construction projects, ideally remediation experience would be beneficial. A tertiary qualification in Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Building Science, or Engineering and/or initial trade background would be ideal.
Rate: $40 per hour to $70 per hour pending experience and contract term from 3 - 6 months.
