Your new role as Territory Sales Representative requires you to travel and cover the Lower North Island region. Based in Wellington you will cover Manawatu, Taranaki and Hawkes Bay regions. This will require up to 5 nights away per month. You will be calling on around 45 stores across your territory, mainly supermarkets. You will also manage up to 10 merchandisers and will be part of a team of 5 Rep's in the Grocery team.
Effective call planning and time management is crucial to your success in this role. As is your desire to build trusted relationships and deliver outstanding service. You will have proven ability building respected relationships with buyers who can often be challenging to deal with. You will be comfortable challenging your customers using tact to ensire best outcome for both parties. Resilience, perseverance, patience and achievement drive are key traits you must have to succeed in this challenging and rewarding role.
You will receive good support from head office and your Sales Manager allowing you to deliver outstanding service to your customers, achieve growth, increased profit and distribution gain for your territory. Your ability to lead, coach and manage your team of merchandisers will ensure full engagement and a positive and unified front.
