- Opportunity to be subject matter expert in online invoicing tool
- Friendly and supportive team within large Crown Entity in Wellington CBD
- Salary $45K to $47K depending on experience

This role is responsible for providing quality accounts payable and other finance support to a large Crown Entity organisation based in the Wellington CBD. You will be familiar with online invoicing and ideally have experience using Approval Plus. As part of this role you will become the subject matter expert for Approval Plus and provide ongoing training and support to staff. This is a great opportunity to utilise your existing accounts payable experience and take ownership of the upskilling and training of the online invoicing system.

Key responsibilities include:

- Working in Approval Plus draft queues, correcting errors and matching purchase orders
- Assist with the checking of payment runs
- Internal and external customer queries
- Process expense claims
- Weekly reports
- Set up new users in Approval Plus
- Process e-bills as delegated by team leader
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Respond to general queries

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following key competencies and attributes:

- Proven experience in accounts payable and general financial accounting skills
- Knowledge and/or experience using Approval Plus or similar online invoicing tool
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to build relationships with internal and external clients
- Natural ability to train others
- Technically savvy and well developed skills in the Microsoft Suite particularly Excel
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Positive "can do" attitude and happy to pitch in and help out
