As the Strategic Investment Advisor you will be empowered to influence and drive meaningful change throughout one of New Zealand's most respected organisation. This role will maintain a strong focus on enhancing the value of government's assets, planning and monitoring and meeting higher capital asset management standards.

This role will lead the work to support the Investment Asset and Performance Management (IMAP) framework and will oversee the strategic asset management activities together with the improvements identified in the 2015 Asset Management Maturity assessment process, including capability uplift.

Key Accountabilities includes but not limited to: Asset Management Framework; Asset Management Planning; Long Term Investment Plan, Investor Confidence Rating and Relationship Management.

To be considered you must ideally have the following: CA qualified or comes from a financial background, Ability to test, challenge and influence across the business and add value to the organisation; Experience in commercial negotiations with external parties; Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor to a wide range of audiences and Appropriate qualification or proven experience developing/implementing asset management frameworks, asset management plans and practices.
