Knowledge Management Advisor/Information Management Advisor - FAB first career step for an information management graduate - GR8 mgr, GR8 team, Wgtn CBD
- are you a junior level knowledge management person looking for your first career role in your chosen field?
- are you looking for a great role that will let you build on your current knowledge within a capable and very supportive team environment?
- do you want to work for one of THE nicest managers who will support your career development aspirations all the way?
Yes? Then read on!
ABOUT THE ORGANISATION:
The organisation is a large government agency. They are based in central city Wellington, very close to the train station.
They have a big workload on at the moment as a result of some major project initiatives. As a result, they want to employ another knowledge management advisor to help the busy team they have in place (there are a total of 10 people in the team now).
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Above all else, this is a customer service oriented role. So having a positive, helpful, customer service focused approach is going to be REALLY important.
A substantial part of the role will have you involved in helping colleagues from various areas of the organisation access and use their information management system. This would include helping new users to learn the system and providing advice around information management storage, retrieval and management in line with the organisations information management policies and procedures.
You will get full training on their own system (it is a SharePoint based one, and one of the most popular and well regarded ECMS systems around) so there is no expectation that you would know anything about it at the outset. The only thing they ask is that you are able to pick new systems up quickly.
