- SCOM/ monitoring specialisation
- Develop your technical skills and career accordingly
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a cloud computing services company that has continuously had year on year growth!
We are seeking a junior to intermediate level Engineer with most importantly, a "can-do" attitude and someone who is ready to take on new challenges and quickly come up to speed to drive critical initiatives. This is a brand new area for our client as they introduce a one-stop-shop cloud monitoring platform. This role will provide you with the opportunity to take complete ownership of this tool; you will be working closely with and learning from the SME's as they're building and configuring the tool. You will play a key role in providing monitoring and support as they build this offering.
We are looking for multi-talented, customer and delivery focused individuals who have a proven track record in a monitoring tool such as SCOM at an advanced level where you have designed or enhanced a monitoring tool within a vendor environment, or supported and/or tailored a monitoring tool for a customer. An awareness of cloud technologies and concepts is essential, along with a mixed background in AD, IIS, applications such as Exchange or SharePoint, and Linux.
This role will suit someone who can think outside the box and offer cloud solutions with PAAS. You will have a strong understanding of the benefits of PAAS and be able to articulate why you would choose a PAAS solution over IAAS.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to play a strong part in the future success of a dynamic and innovative business. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with some of the best in the business and develop their technical skills and career accordingly. Please feel free to email me on firstname.lastname@example.org or call me on (04) 471 5868 to discuss this in confidence.
