My client is seeking an experienced Purchasing/Inventory Officer, for their busy and friendly Albany organisation whilst one of their team takes 6 months maternity leave.

Our role will see you working with local and international suppliers to purchase products and manage inventory of a busy warehouse. To be successful in the role you will need to have strong, accurate data entry skills, previous forecasting and purchasing experience, and experience monitoring and managing inventory levels. You will also enjoy running daily reports to ensure that stock levels are kept to acceptable limits.

Our role would suit someone who is switched on, enjoys juggling a lot of tasks at the same time and takes pride on meeting tight deadlines.

Experience required for this role:-

- Must have a minimum of 3 - 5 years purchasing experience
- Previous system experience in Attache is preferable but training can be given
- Previous exposure to pricing
- Excellent communication, verbal and written skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- The ability to pick up new systems quickly is a must
- Have strong negotiation skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy is a must

We are looking for someone to commence our role immediately and commit for a period of 6 months.
