Due to the very buoyant and rapidly growing Auckland market, they now have an opportunity for an Environmental / Civil Engineer with a background in water infrastructure to join the team.

__ About the Role__

This is a specialist position within the Water Infrastructure team, and your responsibility will include:
- The design of wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines and land disposal systems for industrial and municipal water / wastewater
- Civil work design
- Project observation
- Management of construction contracts: tender preparation, contractor evaluation, budget management, invoice reconciliation and work certification
- Coordination of subcontractors, liaison with regulators and clients

__ Skills & Experience Required__

- Tertiary Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years' experience within water infrastructure
- Experienced in fieldwork
- Strong report writing skills are essential
