**Secondly, about the role -**
The Web Developers work on online applications, web properties, integration to middleware and web services. You'll work in conjunction with Architects, Systems Specialists, Middleware Specialists and other Developers.
This is NOT a dry and dusty application dev role, this is a role where you'll be part of a team and organisation driving the way forward in digital technology, re-inventing their way of writing software, their way of doing business and their way of meeting customer needs. You'll be working on a large, online integration project and you'll have the opportunity to broaden your skill base.
The only dust you'll see is behind you because you'll be moving forward so quickly.
**Thirdly, about you -**
You'll be a talented Web Developer who's keen and able to adapt to different technologies as the role demands. You'll have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Web Application Developer, developing secure web applications services.
You'll be experienced in Web site / application planning, implementation, maintenance and enhancement, as well as content distribution beyond the website through content feeds, web services etc.
**Technology / methodology background -**
- Java development experience (yip, that's right, we do need some Java experience)
- Multi-platform skills (Linux/ Windows).
- 3-5 years commercial experience gained in online, interactive and integrated environments.
- Experience in designing, developing and consuming Web Services.
- Agile experience.
