Our client currently seeks a Branch Manager to manage their Auckland facility. They are leaders in the fabrication of essential products to the Construction and Building sectors. Working from construction drawings, their services include the fabrication and installations of large volume orders for a range of medium to large construction companies.

Renowned in the market place for providing quality products and services, as the Branch Manager you will be a natural leader with a sound knowledge of the construction or building sector. You will also have proven experience managing a P&L within a diverse business that focuses on profitable outputs and quality on time delivery.

Responsibilities include:

* Managing the day-to-day branch operation including all staff
* Liaising with key clients
* Proactively seeking new client & business opportunities
* Overall responsibility for branch operational & financial outputs
* Ensuring H&S policies are at all times adhered to
* Leading & mentoring a focused team of operational & administrative personnel
* Providing management reports to management on branch performance
* Ensuring suitable staff training is implemented across the business

Skills, experience & qualifications:

* A tertiary qualification in engineering, construction or related discipline
* Proven experience in the Engineering sector (Civil experience preferred)
* People management experience (preferred)
* Leadership qualities (essential)
* An understanding of QS deliverables would be an advantage
