You will be contracting to a large, well known infrastructure company operating from strategic locations across Auckland and they are considered a major stakeholder in Auckland's short-term and long-term growth and development.
You will be managing IT service contracts and supplier agreement and your job content will have a strong project organisational focus. On a day-to-day basis, you will be working alongside the business technical/ICT team, ensuring contracts for goods and services are in line with the company's best practice policies, strategies and guidelines. In the case of services, you will also ensure that service level agreements with suppliers are being monitored and managed, including service level performance.
What we are looking for
You will need previous experience of proactively managing supplier contracts within the technology spend/ICT area. You will be drafting contracts including statements of work, undertaking risk assessment, facilitating contract approval, and ensuring the quality and service delivery of ongoing contracts. It is a senior role and the need for these skill-sets is not negotiable. You will also need to have excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - along with a confident, positive personality and an engaging interpersonal style. Your ability to successfully interact with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation, should be without question.
