This is a relatively new company but have been involved in the high end of the interior fit-out industry for 25 years, being involved in some of the best interior fit-outs in and around Auckland. They are predominantly within the hospitality , bar, restaurant and hotel sectors. They have Directors with great networks and that instill a positive working culture

They have secured several high profile contracts, including the refurbishment of 36 rooms and 160 ensuite refurbishments at a top tier hotel as well as several other exciting projects. As a result they need a senior Qs that can assist in the financial delivery of projects

The nature of the role involves:

* Estimating - from a concept drawing - budget estimate to a full take off from a full set of tender drawings
* Progress claims
* Analysis of subcontractor payments and certifications
* Preparation of subcontractor payments and certifications
* Overseeing any project from start to completion regarding all cost management, maintaining the budget and margins
* Purchase orders, variations and RFIs

The ideal fir for this role will be an experienced QS with ideal experience gained in the hospitably fitout industry or general interiors, but not essential. You are qualified and possess excellent communication skills. You have potential to be able to spot cost margin savings.
