The Auckland territory presents you with a number of clients to work with. Enjoy the large portfolio of ingredients that have been in the fold for a number of years.
You will have to work collaboratively with customers, looking after their own product development and marketing to help them re-energise their markets and secure your competitive edge as a key or sole supplier.
Key skills will include increasing sales through relationship building, a strong resilience to competition, proactive practises to ensure clients are delighted with solutions and ideas.
Importantly you will have access to a well-honed Product Development team will you in your sales process and assist with every aspect of the NPD process, from sourcing new ingredients, to helping develop a range of new products, substitutions. You will also improve existing goods across a broad range of food categories and applications including products in Bakery, Dairy, Seasonings, and Beverage.
Ideally you will have worked in food ingredients or in FMCG and you will have proven success in providing ideas that have led to high performance. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills for those important sales meetings and will be able to think innovatively about the next step.
