The Finance Manager role is responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of New Zealand monthly and annual consolidated management reporting. This role is responsible for maintaining robust controls and processes with regards to financial systems, banking and cash flow management for the organisation. This includes but is not limited to Fixed Asset management, financial reconciliations and all payables.

The Key responsibilities of the position will include:

- Preparation and consolidation of Month End Management reports
- Review and completion of Corporate Month End reporting
- Involved with the preparation of annual Budget and Monthly Forecasting process
- Reviewing Intercompany and GL reconciliations
- Review Payroll and Vendor payments
- Review Fixed Asset reporting to ensure accuracy and strong internal controls
- Assisting with Financial compliance (statutory accounts and income tax returns) obligations
- Training and development of team and operational managers
- Manage cashflow

The ideal candidate will come from a large organisation within a complex financial department and ideally been involved in an ERP Implementation. I strong degree of flexibility and resilience will be an asset to your skill level

To be successful in this role require:

- A number of years commercial experience in a medium to large organization
- Staff management experience
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting and CA qualification
- Use of Microsoft Office to an intermediate level
- Ability to mentor and train direct reports
- A high degree of oral and written communication skills
- Well motivated and proactive
- NZ IFRS and Income Tax legislation knowledge an advantage
