Working for a dynamic organisation in one of New Zealand largest and fasted growing industries, covering on a 13 to 14 month fixed term role, you will bring your extensive Payroll and HRIS systems experience and knowledge, along with your PayGlobal skills to this exciting fast paced role.

In this role you will carry out the following duties and responsibilities;

- Ownership of the entire Processing of Payroll and HRIS system
- Ensures accurate and timely PAYE processing
- Authorising and checking processes have been followed correctly for payments
- Creating reports
- Investigating and answering payroll queries
- Completes paper work for external agencies such as Winz, ACC
- End of month and year processing and reconciliation
- Processing manual payments
- Work closely with the HR Team, looking at implementing improvements
- Ensures all systems controls are in place
- Process Audit reports
- Work with HR on the creation of manuals, payroll policies and procedures
- Supports the GM of HR
- Training of the HR Administrator
- Leads all testing and upgrades of the HRIS system

To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate all the skills and experience listed below;

- Working experience of PayGlobal
- Experience in a similar role in New Zealand
- Knowledge of New Zealand Payroll and HR related legislation
- Be Deadline driven
- Excellent command of the English language
- Strong problem solving skills
- Advanced administration skills
- Good numerical skills
- Process Driven
- Strong attention to detail
- Systems savvy
- Have a valid New Zealand Working Visa, or be a New Zealand Resident/Citizen
