This main contractor has been in the construction scene for many years, they are well established and have built up a reputation for delivering quality projects across several sectors, particularly within education, industrial and retail areas. They have maintained a basic yet successful formula for winning new business, leveraging off long established client relationships and networks offering repeat business and being smart and selective in the tender market.

Due to this continued success, they are now looking to recruit a project manager at the intermediate level who has the ability to run multiple projects concurrently and is keen to continue to grow their career in this organization.

As a PM, you will be ensuring projects meet delivery timeframes, budgets, quality outcomes and any risks minimized. You will be guiding and providing support to the site team, liaising and developing relationships with clients, consultants, sub-contractors and suppliers. Other duties will involve project planning.

To be a success in this role, your will have solid experience in the NZ construction market and understand the industry. You must have initiative, strong leadership skills, be well organised and be responsive to change. A tertiary qualification would be valued, esp. in quantity surveying or construction management.

Salary on offer $100K - $120K depending on your level of experience.
