This is a first rate opportunity for a driven estimator looking to take your career all the way to the top. Due to the structure and profile of the current team, this national main contractor company are looking for their next successor in the estimating area, longer term a directorship is a possibility. You might be at the experienced intermediate level or a solid senior.

The role sits under the chief estimator who is looking to exit shortly and you would be transitionally learning the business and applying your sharp estimation skills to win a number of projects within the mid market area, $2M - $30M.

Key success areas for this role are:

* A strong QS/Estimating background of more than 7 years experience
* Ability to develop and mentor less experienced staff
* Commercially switched on
* Experienced and with strong knowledge of tendering/estimating and can successfully win projects
* You are committed to being part of a growing and successful company with ambitious plans
* Strong local networks, an understanding of Auckland sub contractors and local rates.

Salary $110K - $140K + vehicle, fuelcard, laptop and mobile
