Our client, a reputable magazine publisher are seeking an experienced Account Manager with some exposure of advertising sales OR a strong interest in cars and/or trucks would be ideal. This is initially a 12 month contract but highly likely to become permanent through this time.

The job entails:

* Managing all advertising sales for print/digital media for 2 publications
* Presenting to an array of suppliers
* Planning a regular monthly call cycle incorporating current and prospective new clients nationwide
* Development and maintenance of new customers whilst managing the current portfolio
* Attending relevant trade shows and industry events
* Presenting to a range of people at all levels
* Coordinating advertising spreads within the layout of the magazine
* Drive sales, increase readership and build rapport with current
* Ongoing liaison with internal staff

The successful applicant will have the following skills and attributes:

* A can do attitude and a hunger to succeed in a fast paced sales environment
* Proven Business Development Achievements
* Print/Digital advertising sales advantageous
* A love of cars and trucks
* A down to earth and charismatic nature
* The ability to work well autonomously yet also be a strong team player
* Highly deadline driven
