Our client, a respected and prominent player in the contract logistics and supply chain field are seeking a customer centric individual with hands on experience in the logistics world to join their hard working and fun team to manage a tight knit portfolio of accounts along with working closely with internal Operations Manager's.

The role:

- Handle a range of queries both in person and by phone
- Work closely with Operations across a range of tasks
- Coordinate day to day performance including achievement of various KPI's internally and externally
- Manage existing accounts and developing ongoing strong relationships
- Resolving a range of particular issues and being across all customers expectations
- Ongoing liaison with external and internal stakeholders, with a range of monitoring on a daily basis
- Handling any projects as they arise
- Following up on ETA's and other deadlines
- Ongoing reviewing and improving business processes
- Leading customer renewals

This role is a mixture of client services and a range of operational duties. This would ideally suit someone looking for that next step or someone with two years experience in Account Management in a similar field.

The successful candidate:

- Logistics background is essential
- Proven customer solution history is vital
- The ability to work in a very reactive environment and be able to handle the unpredictability of days changing
- Existing Account Management/client services background is helpful but not essential
- Strong communication skills
- A natural analytical background who also has strong attention for detail
- A team player who has a good sense of humour and can build rapport with a variety of people
