Our client, Atlas Copco a supplier of industrial equipment with world-leading positions in compressors, construction and mining equipment, power tools and assembly systems. They require a hands on Sales and Operations extraordinaire to drive the rental division nationally.
They are well known for their sustainability and their energy efficiency, value for money and innovation.
The role will entail developing and implementing a local marketing plan and management of rental sales along with managing the rental fleet utilization. There is significant travel in this role, approximately 3 to 4 nights away every other week.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
- A technical nous along with strong commercial acumen
- Customer centric and success in 'going the extra mile'
- Proven success with solution selling
- Technical/Mechanical/Electrical qualification is preferred
- Experience within the industrial or capital equipment sector
- Exposure to financial management
- Managing customers and developing relationships
- People management skills preferred or ability to step up
- Experience in sales/rental within the capital equipment sector
Atlas Copco are open to where in the North Island this person is located, ideally it would be Auckland or New Plymouth. A competitive base, bonuses and car make up this package.
