This north shore based construction company specialises across new build commercial and residential, renovations and fit outs based projects. They also have a specialist joinery division as a complement to their services for clients. It is a family run company with a high client service ethic employing top talent to ensure quality finishing and engagement through process. Due to consistent increases in the level of new work, they are now in a position to recruit a junior level QS to assist a senior QS.

This is a learning role and would be a steep learning curve to begin with.

Key components of this role involve:

* scheduling/estimating
* tender preparation and analysis
* bills of quantities
* cost management
* subcontractor management
* progress claims and assessing variations

You are a recent graduate with some work experience or have some experience as a quantity surveyor and be willing to be trained. You must have a relevant tertiary degree. You are practical, have strong financial nous, can negotiate, have an eye for detail, are adaptable, responsive and can confidently liaise across a range of stakeholders.

This role offers a competitive market salary $45K - $50K with access to ongoing professional development.
