Led by innovative and switched on management, this group home builder are a fast growing Auckland operation. With a brand recognised for their highest quality in design yet affordable costs exceeding customer expectations, they are forecasting more solid growth for 2017. They have great support systems, strong trade and supplier relationships, a fun and quirky team culture with a very low staff turnover.

Due to this level of growth, they now need to identify a cost manager to lead the procurement and commercial function of the business.

Reporting to the CEO, your role involves:

* Procurement/estimating leadership
* Managing a QS team
* Woking in close partnership with the Construction manager
* Contract administration
* Financial reporting and variations, reviewing project forecasts/work in progress
* Orders preparation
* Supplier management/negotiating high level contracts
* Setting up and/or advising on systems as required

Key background

* 10+ years of residential/commercial experience including knowledge of NZ construction processes
* Preferably tertiary qualified
* Outstanding communication and leadership skills
* Well presented
* Strong financial nous and business acumen
* Experienced in using cost management software
* Accuracy
* Drive and want to build a career within this company

Salary $100K - $130K
