A sensational opportunity has arisen for a Finance Business Partner to be part of a world class financial crime and corruption agency. A small, highly specialised government department responsible for serious or complex fraud investigations and prosecutions.
The Role
The Finance Business Partner plays a critical role in managing, coordinating and delivering standardised, consistent and consolidated reporting to the SLT in order to support more effective decision making and financial management across the business.

As the ideal candidate you will bring:
- An in-depth understanding of financial reporting and accounting requirements
- Experience enhancing financial systems and processes
- Experience in business planning, budgeting and developing business cases for funding
- Experience in providing sound financial advice and judgement on financial matters to SLTs
- Experience of computerised accounting systems and extensive use of modelling tools (e.g. Excel)
- Demonstrated knowledge of finance legislation
- Ideally knowledge of the public sector financial obligations and legislation
- Effective communication, including inquisitive and proactive analytical skills to provide insights; value added conversations to assist in better decision making
Other requirements:
- A tertiary level qualification in Finance
- Ideally CA qualified
