Our client is a leading force in the packaging sector and are growing considerably in the market. Due to an internal transfer they are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their solution-based team.
- Manage an Auckland based portfolio with an annual spend of 15 million
- Relationship management at multi levels to manage customer expectations to a hightening numerous channels to build long term relationships – networking & corporate entertainment
- Meet the portfolio budget expectations
- Plan and conduct regular business reviews with customers and management
- Keep customers fully informed of progress or delays
- Liaise on an ongoing basis with a wide variety of internal stakeholders
- Proactively identify new business opportunities (approximately 10%)
- Carry out a number of relevant reports
The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
- A background in FMCG, Packaging or Manufacturing/Industrial is highly desirable
- Experience in solution sales and one in which you partner with your clients
- Commercially savvy and with the ability to think outside the box
- Proven success managing strategic customers
- NZ Citizen or Resident only
- Be resilient with a strong work ethic
- A charismatic personality and someone who is highly customer centric
