The purpose of the Accountant role is to process and review daily and monthly financial information of the Group.

The position includes processing financial information, preparing reconciliations and assisting and advising colleagues and other related parties:

  • Process financial information
  • Responsible for maintaining Fixed Asset Registers
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliation work papers, investigate and resolve variances
  • Support business as usual within the Finance Team
  • Assist with preparation of Monthly Financial Reports
  • Advise and support colleagues and other related parties
  • Assist the corporate services team with day to day accounting functions, project work and process improvements

Qualification and Experience required:

  • A relevant degree and a minimum of three years’ experience in a professional or corporate accounting environment
  • Qualification with a recognised Accounting Professional body is preferred, i.e. CAANZ Chartered Accountant or Associate Chartered Accountant
  • Computer literacy, including advanced Excel spreadsheet skills and medium level skills in other Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in working with accounting systems and processes
