Our client is a market leader in New Zealand and is currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Officer with experience in the Logistics industry.
About the role:
- In this position you will work in both a domestic road transport, as well as an international logistics environment
- You will be responsible for all AP related functions, but AR will also become part of the role over the course of time
Specific duties will include:
- Reconciliations
- Processing invoices and payments for NZ Road Transport accounts
- Processing shipping charges
- Monitoring and processing invoices for container detention charges
- Monthly reporting

What you bring to the team:
- You will have great attention to detail
- Experience working in an AP role in the freight and logistics industry
- Previous exposure to shipping charges and costs
- Experience in working on SAP and / or CargoWise would be a distinct advantage, but not essential
