I have a Permanent full-time opportunity for an Oracle Developer with a leading financial organisation based in Wellington.
Role Purpose:
- You will be joining an Agile team whose focus is on continuous integration and delivery in a complex data space.
- You will design, build and resolve problems across the banks’ Oracle applications.
- You will be responsible for maintaining, developing and enhancing system functionality to meet business needs.
- You will provide quality assurance throughout following technical governance and quality control standards.
Person Specification:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the commercial development experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience in troubleshooting and problem determination.
- Genuinely strong interpersonal skill and ability to deal with all levels of customers.
- Previous experience using large Oracle database / data warehouse systems.
- Understanding in data modelling and Oracle data design.
- Experience in release management using SVN, TFS, or GIT.
- Good knowledge of QA process and software testing.
- To top it off, experience in Scrum development process and associated agile techniques.
