About the Role:
Great role based in central Takapuna, on Auckland's North Shore. Join a stable software company where your focus will be to develop, execute test cases, analyse and capture defects for a range of top quality software products.
About You:
To hit the ground running you will bring your relevant skills in the following areas:
- Testing software within an agile environment
- Developing new test suites and test cases for new features
- Helping develop and maintain the automation testing framework and test suites
- Assist with Test strategy for both manual and automated testing process
- Developing scripts to automate repetitive tasks
- Execute tests and provide clear, consistent statements on the results
- Reporting pass/fail status of the deliverables to respective stakeholders
- Ensuring that the QA process is adhered to, and that feedback is given and evaluated to identify areas to improve
- Documenting approach and plan
- Executing investigative and regression tests against software
- Working with development teams on defects
- Process management of Functional, Usability, Integration and Regression testing
Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
- A tertiary or equivalent bachelor’s qualification in relevant area (e.g. B.Sc, H. Sc.)
- ISTQB Qualification (preferable)
- +3 years’ software testing experience
- Knowledge of agile testing methodologies

- Excellent English communication skills (oral and written)
- Attention to detail, questioning the unexpected and a methodical approach to tasks is essential Methodical person with good organisational skills
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Must be enthusiastic, energetic, and willing to learn
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in PowerShell, Typescript / JavaScript / ReactJS/React Native and Python or C#
- Experience with automation software such as Selenium, Appium, Test Complete, or similar
- Mobile automation testing iOS/Android/Windows
