The organisation is a large government agency based in Wellington. The organisation employs about 3,000 people nationwide, and their ICT group has around 150 people.
About the Manager
Firstly, you need to know that the BA Manager to whom you will be reporting is one of THE smartest and nicest you could find. She definitely knows her stuff, and provides a supportive, positive team to work in. She is keen to help her team members develop their careers and explore challenges within the role, and the amount of training - formal and informal - that is available is extremely good. In all, she is a smart, highly regarded person with a great deal of expertise and first class skills as a manager.
The team you will be part of totals around 15 people, each of whom are working on different projects at any one time.
This manager is also firmly committed to offering a strong work/life balance. So you get to do interesting work, but you won't be working all hours to get it done.
About the Role
The role is based within a business unit that is responsible for a wide range of business analysis projects.
Coming up, a major focus of the upcoming work they are planning to carry out relates to technical infrastructure and implementations around the 'as a service' delivery models. As a result, they are actively looking for a Business Analyst whose CV reflects their skills and experience in this area.
You will get to see a piece of work through from beginning to end, and you will be working on a variety of projects at any one time.
