Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Group Billing Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership across the billing function; aiming to standardise and streamline processes throughout the business. Ideally you will have strong experience leading a geographically dispersed billing team, with knowledge of healthcare or medical insurance practices a bonus.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Manager to implement change, mentor others and provide strategic leadership across the Billings space.
Duties Include:
- Management of 5 direct and 10 indirect reports, across the Billing team (some team members are currently working from remote locations)
- Standardisation of billing processes, across multiple sites focussing on continuous improvement, strategic long-term planning, and training of the BAU team
- Working with senior management, the Billing team, and the wider business to identify long-term improvements to overall processes
- Build effective working relationships across Evolution, providing direction and coaching to the broader billing team
- Integrate billing activities for any newly acquired entity within the team
- Ensure optimal cashflow through consistent collection of prepayments and timely completion of invoicing
Desired Experience:
- Experience managing geographically dispersed billing teams, ideally for a healthcare or medical insurance provider or a large utilities company
- Knowledge of Billing processes, with previous experience leading change across processes and systems
- Strong inter-personal skills with an ability to create relationships with and mentor others
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage
