This high performing team uses a combination of governance expertise and technical knowledge to deliver high quality advice and services.
In this role you will provide proactive advice to senior managers, business units and staff. You will provide material for Council, Committees and Boards to support the delivery of core democratic services. Your relationships and interactions in this role will be wide ranging and diverse.
We are seeking someone with 3-5+ years of professional experience, a tertiary qualification (in law, policy or political science) and strong administration skills. Top-notch relationship management, customer service and communication skills will help you succeed in this role.
An understanding of Council, Committee and Subcommittee meeting protocols is advantageous. Familiarity with Standing Orders, Code of Conduct, Local Government Act, LGOIMA and the Members Interest Act is desirable.
