Beyond Recruitment is supporting the Ministry of Education in finding a Business Advisor for an initial 6-month contract at $110 per hour.
As a Business Advisor with the Ministry of Education you will support an early learning programme of work by:
- Developing tools, service guides and processes for the assessment of prospective applicants for new early childhood centres
- Developing public facing documents and how to guides for prospective applicants that are in line with agreed policy and approaches
- Writing business rules and logic to support an early learning assessment tool and developing a how-to guide for this tool
- Documenting processes and actions from regional workshops on how to use the assessment tool and how to use it as part of the assessment of prospective applicants for new early childhood centre
- Mapping out independencies and links across project teams, e.g. policy and regulation and assessment practice
You will bring to this role:
- Previous experience in a business advisory role within the public sector
- Strong communications skills and a proven ability to write reports, guidelines, and business rules
- The ability to collaborate within a team and manage internal and external relationships
- A mind for trouble shooting and problem solving
- A passion for fair and equitable outcomes
