We are seeking a Business Analyst, for a 9 month contract in the ICT space. This role is based in Porirua.

Our client has an ongoing requirement to upgrade multiple business applications and underlying operating systems/software that have reached end of life and/or support, or that need enhancing to support business needs. Lotus Notes was identified as a business risk due to the system nearing end of life.

There  are  number of  forms  on  Lotus  Notes  with  functionality  ranging  from  static  forms  to approval and reporting workflows with associated degrees of complexity. How and where each of these  forms  should  reside  will  require  analysis  and  consultation  with  the  business. 

A  Business  Analysts  is  required  to  work  with  the  Agile  project  team  to  migrate  the  Lotus  Notes forms to the IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) software solution where appropriate.

 

Tasks included in this assignment

  • Identify and document Functional and Non-Functional requirements
  • Assist developers and testers to clarify requirements and process flows as they arise
  • Identify, document and assist with deployment issues and tasks as they arise
  • Review current Lotus Notes forms and functionality and determine with business owners if like-for-like or other options are required
  • Work with solution/enterprise architects to find the most suitable platform for each ‘group’ of forms,
  • Participate in workshops and document outcomes.
