Our client is a large, high-profile banking group, headquartered in central Auckland.
As part of a large, ongoing project to meet compliance obligations with the NZ Privacy Act 2020, an opportunity is available for an experienced Business Analyst to join an established team. This is slated to be a 6-month contract with a view to someone starting in the role in the near future.
Key responsibilities of this role will involve:
- Work with Privacy Workstream PM and Data Privacy Office leaders to develop, deliver and embed actions to help strengthen compliance with NZ Privacy Act 2020
- Use Privacy domain knowledge, pragmatism and enterprise experience to formulate appropriate responses to obligations to ensure compliance, but also to consider and balance sustainability (of solutions) and business operating constraints
- Lead some activity solely and/or work as part of a wider team of Privacy BAs to develop new and/or modify existing privacy processes, procedures or capabilities
- Translate Privacy obligations into pragmatic fit for purpose privacy capabilities including data integration mapping for privacy management tools, capture of data usage (purpose), recording processing of personal information, etc.
In addition to your core Business Analyst skill-set (application of enterprise risk frameworks, risk management tools and frameworks, excellent documentation/written communication skills), experience of the delivery of privacy requirements within an enterprise (e.g. NZ Privacy Act, EU-GDPR or equivalent) will be an essential pre-requisite for this role.
