Cabinetry Detailer / Kitchen design

About the Role
As a Cabinetry Detailer, you will be responsible for producing accurate shop drawings, cutting lists and manufacturing information for commercial joinery projects. You will play a critical role in ensuring projects are production-ready and delivered efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed commercial joinery shop drawings for client, architect and contractor approval
- Generate accurate cutting lists and manufacturing documentation
- Prepare jobs for CNC production
- Review drawings and specifications to identify potential production or installation issues
- Liaise with designers, project managers, architects, builders and factory staff
- Ensure all documentation meets quality and manufacturing requirements
- Support the successful delivery of commercial joinery projects from design through to production
Essential Experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience in cabinetry detailing, production detailing or cutting-list preparation
- Proven experience producing commercial joinery shop drawings
- Strong understanding of cabinetry construction and manufacturing processes
- Experience preparing work for CNC production
- Ability to interpret architectural, interior and construction drawings
- High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Experience using Microvellum
- Experience producing:
- Commercial shop drawings
- Manufacturing drawings
- Cutting lists
- CNC production documentation
- AutoCAD experience
- Experience delivering hospitality, retail, fit-out or commercial joinery projects
- Hourly rate of $45-$55 per hour depending on experience and capability
- Weekly pay
- Full-time permanent opportunity
- Monday to Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm
- Stable, office/factory-based role in Hobsonville
