My client is a New Zealand owned and operated business, a real kiwi success story. They are a recognised industry leader, specialising in Life and Health Insurance. Their success is based on their honest approach and strong partnerships with their customers, helping to support kiwi families, when life doesn’t always go as planned.
Due to the continued success of the business, they are looking to hire a new Case Manager to join their experienced claims team. This role will work closely with customers and policy holders, ensuring claims are paid quickly, in a hassle-free process. It will also work closely with individuals and family members, to provide support and advice during difficult periods.
Previous Claims/Case Management experience would be useful, but not essential. To be successful in this role, you need to have fantastic customer service and relationship building skills, able to build trust with customers. You will be mature and empathetic, treating people as individuals, not just another case.
You will also have strong communication skills, both written and verbal. This will include being able to read and interpret contracts and policies, as well as being able to understand medical information and hold conversations with doctors, nurses, lawyers, etc.
