Based in the Christchurch office located in the central city, this full time position will be responsible for leading the civil engineering team and driving the development of the civil business. The candidate must have experience working in both the private and public sectors, have confidence in their technical knowledge, as well as a strong commercial focus and business acumen. Responsibilities:
- Work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Be client-facing and enjoy talking to people to get the job done.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships and use your strong presentation skills to promote ENGCO’s services to potential clients.
- Delegate tasks to the team and ensure project deadlines are met.
- Assist with technical queries and provide technical support to the team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in New Zealand in a similar position with public and private sector experience.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong technical background in civil engineering.
- Ability to manage and lead a team.
