About the role:

We’re looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to work with an amazing client who strive to be at the cutting edge of technology.

About you:

• 3+ years of experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on Azure and AWS platforms
• Experience in several of the following areas: database architecture, ETL, business intelligence, big data, machine learning, advanced analytics
• Proven ability to collaborative with multi-disciplinary teams of business analysts, developers, and subject matter experts
• ITIL Certification, or demonstrable experience within ITIL organisation

About the role :

• Assist in the operational governance of the multi-cloud environment (predominantly Azure but with an AliCloud and AWS footprint)
• Develop in accordance with Group Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE) processes and operation guides to ensure smooth transition to Cloud Operations
• Liaise with service providers to ensure that operational processes (backup, patching, provisioning, monitoring) are delivered on time and to standards
• Develop automation opportunities via the use of Infrastructure-As-Code tooling
• Script writing and development of configuration templates are required for cloud automation
