The role:
As a result of the value placed on Data and insights, my client is currently looking for their next commercial analyst to join their business in a 2 IC capacity. This role is operating in a senior role analysing pricing, margins, performance and operational efficiency. Building relationships with Key stakeholders to support the commercial operations of the business.
You will be involved in Bid support analysis through developing complex financial models, work with the commercial team to improve Year End accuracy, partnering with the sales team to provide reporting and insights, along with Pricing support, Investment analysis of capital expenditure and business case support/development.
As this is a 2IC role it will provide you with the opportunity to develop your leadership skills, SLT engagement and provide a springboard to commercial management.
About you:
You will be an exceptional analyst with a highly commercial outlook. This is in essence a business partnering role, so you will be excellent at building relationships, looking at the big picture and managing stakeholders to achieve strong commercial outcomes.
You will have the following skills and experience:
- Strong commercial analysis skills
- Advanced Excel skills including the ability to build financial models
- Business case development
- Power BI exposure
- Relevant tertiary Qualification
- Process improvement experience
- Strong commercial acumen
