We’re assisting a well-known company with the recruitment of a Comms and Engagement Advisor to join their team for an initial 6 month fixed term contract in Christchurch.

This role requires someone with generalist comms skills, from strategy to implementation and a deep understand of tikanga Māori and cultural competencies.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Support in the development, review and evaluation of the Communications and Engagement Strategies
  • Identify engagement needs of the organisation and manage consultations and engagement exercises
  • Act as a key point of liaison between stakeholders and members of the public
  • Lead engagement activities

To be successful you will need:

  • Generalist comms and engagement experience at a senior level across strategy through to implementation
  • A self-starter who is used to running their own work programme
  • A deep understand of tikanga Māori and cultural competencies
