This is an interiors and general main contractor that have been successful in building their brand profile in the Auckland market. They are specialists in delivering the most challenging and complex refurbishments projects, but also new builds.
They work with international brands and corporates with sizable commercial premises. They have a clear strategy to continue to take on more projects in this area. Most of their jobs are in the $5M - $10M category but have projects larger up to $40M under construction.
As a construction manager, you will facilitate and co-ordinate the delivery of projects plus manage other site and project managers. The role requires a mix of attending PCG meetings, contract admin, programme management, scopes of works, managing site staff,/site team, co-ordination and managing projects, financial/monthly reporting. It is a well rounded role, involving hands on leadership and mentoring.
As an applicant you will have had experience managing projects within the commercial construction with large interiors projects of interest. Ideally tertiary qualified and as well able to manage financial aspects in conjunction with a QS. Your have a stable employment record and will have accompanying glowing references. You have an eye for detail and can work with and develop efficient systems. Of most importance is your communication and relationship development skills as well as your ability to lead and drive a team.
This role offers a competitive package between $220K - $250K + veh pending experience
