A long standing main commercial contractor, respected within the construction industry is in a position to appoint a relationship focussed project manager to step in and oversee a good-sized housing development.  With a focus on active tendering and ongoing new regular client work, they have a positive workload ahead for 2023 in the region. Many projects are in the $5M - $15M region.

A key project is now underway in Bay Of Islands and need a strong PM to lead it. 

Your areas of focus will be:

* Project control and delivery
* Staff management of Site Managers
* Relationship management and development of client and consultant relationships
* Programme management; financial and contractual management, quality control, risk management


The successful applicant will possess a relevant tertiary qualification and/or trade qualification, previous project leadership experience, great interpersonal skills and a thorough level of technical construction knowledge including programming


This role would suit an applicant in a commercial contractor environment who has particular strength in being able to trouble shoot, identify and sort out problems efficiently. Also top financial management skills are a must.
