- Temporary role commencing asap (once vetting is completed) to 30 June 2027

This temporary assignment has been established to assist with clearing a backlog of debt. The position will also review and improve debt management processes to ensure consistent and effective debt recovery practices across the organisation.

- Manage and follow up outstanding debts in accordance with established debt management processes.
- Initiate and prepare debt write-off recommendations and ensure approved write-offs are actioned.
- Assess when debts should be referred to external collection agencies.
- Review, streamline, and enhance debt management processes and policies.
- Investigate and resolve customer queries relating to debt recovery.
- Identify risks and recommend appropriate courses of action.
- Develop processes for recovering debt.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to implement improvements.
- Produce quarterly reporting on outstanding debts and write-off recommendations.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement, documentation, and stakeholder training.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- At least 3 years' experience in a Credit Control or Debt Management role.
- Strong knowledge of credit control and general bookkeeping practices.
- Experience working with ERP and financial systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A customer-focused approach with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A collaborative working style and proven ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
