We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to help contribute to our Data, Analytics and Strategy division, and sits under the Data business unit. The team is made up of experienced Data Engineers that support data requests from various parts of the business. You will be responsible for validating raw data, assembling, and transforming data sets to meet business requirements, and provide relevant data to support analysis, decision making and reporting.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- A strong background in modern data engineering practices, and strong SQL Skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead technical discussions with a non-technical audience
- Experience in Hadoop, Python or PySpark
- Experience working in an agile environment using DevOps practices
- Good communication, facilitation, negotiation and influencing skills
- A passion for mentoring and sharing knowledge of engineering principles and practices
