This high end design led interiors consultancy with a main contractor arm spends a substantial amount of time and commitment to really getting to know their clients - who they are and why they are different. They provide an end to end service, from design through to delivery. With a stream of new work in the pipeline includiing government and private clients, they require a highly skilled project manager that has ability to successfully deliver multiple interiors projects including base builds. Some of these are big contracts with clients with ongoing work.
The role is mainly office based. It will involve client meetings, financial management, scopes of works, programming, subcontractor and stakeholder management including liaison with external consultants, co ordination and managing the entire delivery using project management software, OSH Management. Client facilitation is critical.
As an applicant you will have had experience worked as a Project Manager with an established interior fit-out and refurbishment company in NZ either client side or contractor delivering a number of fit out and refurb projects. You are either trade qualified or ideally have a degree in Construction Management or a similar tertiary qualification. You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills for developing and maintaining relationships with all project stakeholders. You have experience/knowledge of contracts administration, contractual management and are commercially savvy.
